Frequent Questions and Answers

Does NCB Management Services, Inc. report to credit bureau reports?

NCB Management Services, Inc. credit reports accounts it has purchased, but we will not report any purchased account until at least 45 days after sending you our initial notice. If, during this time, you either pay or resolve your account in full, or you enter into a payment arrangement whereby you make a payment and then continue to make payments on your account until it is resolved, we will not credit report your account.

NCB Management Services, Inc. does not credit report accounts placed for collections by third-party creditors (non-purchased accounts). If you have any questions about whether your account is credit reported, please ask us.

Will NCB Management Services, Inc. remove the account from my credit reports after it has been resolved?

Your account will be considered paid-in-full or paid-in-full for less than the balance due after your final payment is successfully posted. Within approximately 30 days of your final payment successfully posting, we will request that the credit reporting agencies delete our tradeline related to your account from your credit bureau report.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act generally prohibits the reporting of any adverse information which is seven years after the original date of delinquency, regardless of paid status.

What impact does a deleted tradeline have on my credit report?

We cannot advise you on what impact this will have on your credit report. Please contact the credit reporting agencies directly with questions about your credit report.
